Wines, terroirs, winemakers of Occitanie
Close to the medieval city of Carcassonne, classified as a Grand Site of Occitanie, Domaine Saint Martin is an emblematic family property of the IGP Cité de Carcassonne and more specifically of the viticultural qualities that characterize the appellation.
While the Limoux appellation is renowned for its sparkling wines, the terroir is also highly suited to still wines. This is notably illustrated by Anne de Joyeuse, a cooperative winery whose production is entirely dedicated to red, white and rosé wines.
Established on the IGP Vins de la Cité de Carcassonne, Arnaud Aribaud has just opened his first cellar on the family estate of La Bourdette. Its first cuvées augur well for a well-underway wine tourism development project.
