Wines and winegrowers from south of France
At the head of Domains Paul Mas stands an inspired man: Jean Claude Mas. Revealer of terroirs, master in assembling wines, he is today one of the major figures of the wine revival in Languedoc-Roussillon.
If the Limoux appellation is renowned for its sparkling wines, the terroir is also very favorable to still wines. The proof is provided by Anne de Joyeuse whose cooperative production is entirely dedicated to red, white and rosé wines.
The name of Sieur d'Arques, inherited from the XNUMXthe century, recalls that Limoux is a wine-growing land deeply rooted in the history of Languedoc. Founded in 1946, the cooperative is certainly the greatest ambassador of a unique appellation in Languedoc for its still and sparkling wines.
In Rouffiac d'Aude, in the heart of a vineyard located between 200 and 450 m above sea level, the Gaure Castle. Pierre Fabre, a winegrower with artistic talents and master of the place, designs organic wines produced in AOP Limoux and AOP Languedoc.
