A family estate of reference

The La Croix Belle estate is located in Puissalicon , a small village north of Béziers, distinguished by its picturesque circular layout . It is the ancestral home of a very old winemaking family, one of those that actively contributed to the development of the Languedoc terroirs. The current patriarch is Jacques Boyer , who has been overseeing the estate's reputation since 1977, assisted throughout by his wife Françoise . More recently, the family spirit that ensures the estate's continuity has been strengthened by the integration of the latest generation. Two brothers, Emmanuel and Benoît , are now leading the dynamic succession. The Croix Belle estate has thus become a wine business, now operating under the name Jacques Boyer & Fils.

A revealer of the Côtes de Thongue

The wine-growing terroir itself is deeply rooted in identity. The vineyards developed in a region where, since antiquity, culture has been shaped by constant population shifts. It must be said that this land, stretching between the Massif Central and the Mediterranean, enjoys climatic and geological qualities uniquely conducive to wine production. We are here in the heart of the Côtes de Thongue , where the coexistence of layers of clay, limestone, gravel, silt, and pebbles vies with the diversity of grape varieties. For on this IGP land , the palette is vibrant and full of potential. Thus, for reds, Grenache, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon take center stage. For whites, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains offer their counterpoint. The resulting expressive ranges are particularly generous.
