Before being the names of great domains, Chateau Bouscassé et Chateau Montus are the work of one man: Alain Brumont. Certainly one of the most creative winegrowers in Occitanie, Alain Brumont is also the ambassador of a very great wine to which he has conferred all its nobility: the Madiran.

In Viella, in the Madiran vineyard, the Château du Pouey enjoys one of the most favorable terroir. Bastien Lannusse, a talented young winegrower, vinifies there under three appellations: Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh, Madiran and Côtes de Gascogne.
Operating 60 hectares of vines under the High Environmental Value label, the Domaine des Cassagnoles was a pioneer of Côtes de Gascogne varietal wines and continues the traditional production of Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne.
Tannat and Madiran wines
Made from the Tannat grape, Madiran has long been considered a rustic wine intended to improve Bordeaux. It was under the inspired influence of its first ambassador, Alain Brumont, that it won its letters of nobility. Today, Madiran wine is to be considered as one of the jewels of Occitanie wines.
