Typical of Gers and inseparable from the land of Armagnac, the vineyard of Cotes de Gascony presents itself as the most famous ofOccitania as regards the vinification of the whites. Rich in aromatic components, the famous thiols, these wines have carved out a reputation for themselves thanks to the harmonious blends of Colombard, Petit and Gros Mansengs, the more traditional Sauvignon and Chardonnay, or Ugni blanc, which is very common for the production of l 'Armagnac. The reds and some rosés complete the work of the winegrower who here takes advantage of Merlot, Cabernets or Tannat. In Cotes de Gascony, where the appellation enjoys both oceanic sweetness and Pyrenean freshness so precious in summer, the tone of the wines is well fixed on aromatic emotions. Not to mention the presence ofArmagnac and Floc de Gascogne which come to sublimate a terroir which is also a sanctuary of gastronomy.
